We have been busy learning all about New Zealand birds and their environments in our inquiry learning. Shortly we will be visiting the Zoo to learn even more about these native creatures. We have been amazed at the number of native birds we have in New Zealand and the number that are endangered. New Zealand may be small but we have such a variety of habitats for the birds, so we can see how there can be so many different types.
